November 24 Math Preview

We have just finished up the mid module assessment, containing multiplication of decimals. I am looking forward to grading them, as the students seemed to understand the information. They should be sent home next, or after break for you to view, sign and return to school. As a reward, students have decided to have an “electronics day.” On Tuesday, during math centers students will be allowed to bring in an electric device that allows them to do educational items only. They seem to be quite excited, and know the rules for such occasion. For Thanksgiving break, each will be given a project. They will be given a budget and must go through ads and come up with items they wish to purchase, with their money. They may not go over their budget and the ads must be printable, or have the ability to be cut out and glued onto construction paper. More information will be sent home next week. I welcome you to contact me with any questions or concerns @
