I am Douglas May the second grade teacher. This is my second year teaching at Westfall Academy and I am looking forward to the opportunity of teaching at the Academy for another year. I learned many things from my students and their parents last year. I enjoy working with students and watching them as people and as learners.
I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have taught various grade levels in the Rochester City School District for over ten years. I have three daughters , two of them are away at college and the last is a senior in high school. I have been married to my lovely wife for over twenty five years.
I love the sport of soccer and have coached for over twenty five years. I enjoy spending time with my family and taking my dog for walks in the woods.
I look forward to another successful year at Westfall Academy.
