Our Kindergarteners had the opportunity to raise live lady butterflies inside the classroom. It was an amazing experience for our students to explore the life cycle of the butterflies; from larva stage to full grown butterfly. Students learned about metamorphosis and all of the four stages of its life cycle. They then released the butterflies they help grow into its natural habitat, the park!
